Free 60-day pilot · No new number · Turn it off anytime

The 2 a.m. flood call you just missed was a $15,000 job.

EngineOS answers your missed and after-hours calls with a real restoration intake — what happened, where the water is coming from, the address, a confirmed callback number, whether water is standing and how deep, and which rooms it has reached — and hands your team a dispatch-ready lead. Not a message. Not a phone tree. Only the calls you don't pick up.

Live agent · you are the caller

This is the same agent that will answer your line. Try to stump it.

What a missed call actually costs you

You already know the number. An after-hours water loss goes to whoever picks up — and the caller is standing in an inch of water, phoning down a list. Second place gets a voicemail box.

An answering service takes a message and wakes you up for lawn-care inquiries. A phone tree gets hung up on. Both cost you the same thing: the caller's confidence, in the sixty seconds where the job is decided.

$15,000
Typical emergency water-loss job

Set up in one afternoon. Change nothing about your day.

Step 1

Keep your number.

You don't port anything and you don't get a new line. You set conditional call forwarding — the carrier feature that forwards a call only when you don't answer or the line is busy. We walk you through it with your carrier's exact steps, and you confirm it yourself with one test call from your cell — when Rex answers, you're live.

Step 2

We answer what you miss.

When a call rolls over, EngineOS answers as your intake line. It asks what happened, where the water's coming from, the address, a callback number it reads back to confirm, whether water is standing and how deep, and which rooms it's reached — then hands your team the result. On calls that aren't emergencies it asks about insurance too; on the ones that are, it doesn't, because the carrier changes nothing about tonight. Emergencies are flagged before anything else happens, and that logic is hard-coded, not left to an AI's mood.

Step 3

You get a dispatch-ready lead.

Your team gets the structured intake by email the moment the call ends — every answer captured, urgency flagged, callback number confirmed. You dispatch. You win the job that used to go to voicemail.

Rex never commits anything to your caller — no dispatch promises, no ETAs. Emergencies are flagged, the caller is told your team will call right back, and the decision to roll a truck stays yours.

This isn't a chatbot that learned the word "flood"

The agent answering your line runs a restoration-specific intake built on IICRC S500 vocabulary — it knows a Category 3 loss from a Category 1, asks about the water source before the square footage, and exports in the format your estimator already works in, including Xactimate.

And it knows what not to do. Gas smell, structural concern, somebody in danger — those calls get flagged and routed to a person immediately, by rules in reviewed code, not by hoping a language model behaves.

The pilot, in plain terms

  • Free for 60 days. Full product, real calls, your real line.

  • Up to 150 answered calls a month. Past the cap, new callers hear a short message that your team will call them right back, we email you their number the moment it happens, and the call ends. Nothing is dropped silently.

  • After 60 days: $199/month, locked for 12 months as a founding customer. List price is $599. Your pilot converts automatically unless you cancel — and we email you at day 45 and day 55 so the date never surprises you.

  • Cancelling is turning off call forwarding. One carrier code. We show you which one on day one. No contract, no call, no “retention specialist.”

  • The trade: we may publish your results — calls caught, jobs won — as a case study. You approve every number first.

Three minutes

Start the pilot

You'll get your carrier's forwarding code on the next screen, then make one test call to prove it works. Nothing is live until that call lands.

  • No card, and none asked for until day 45
  • Keep your number, your carrier, your contracts
  • Turn it off yourself with one code, anytime

Text alerts. If you tick the box above, EngineOS sends service text messages to the mobile number you provide — alerts about your own account, such as a call that came in when your line had reached its monthly limit, and setup notices. Never marketing, and your number is never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Message frequency varies with your account activity and is low — typically no more than a few messages a month.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Help and stop. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. Consent is not required to sign up — where texts are declined or unavailable, the same notifications reach you by email.

Questions worth asking

Do I need to change my phone number?
No. Your number, your carrier, your contracts. Conditional forwarding only touches calls you don't answer, and you can switch it off yourself anytime.
What happens on call 151?
The caller hears that your team will call them right back, and we email you their number immediately — you make the callback, same as an emergency flag. Nothing is silently dropped. If you're hitting the cap, that's a good problem — tell us and we'll talk about raising it.
What if it mishandles a call?
It can't commit anything on your behalf — no bookings, no dispatch promises, no ETAs. The worst case is a lead with imperfect details, and you can read every transcript to check it. Emergency flagging runs on deterministic rules in tested code, before any AI model touches the call.
Is this one of those AI voice bots that makes things up?
The emergency and safety logic is deterministic — written in code, tested, and it runs before any AI model touches the call. Try the live demo above: tell it there's a gas smell and watch what it does. That behavior is not a script written for this page; it's the product.
What does it cost after the pilot?
$199/month, locked for 12 months, then $599 list. It's on this page because you shouldn't have to get on a call to find out a price.
Who reviews the calls?
You do — by design. Rex captures the intake, tells your caller your team will call right back, and delivers the lead to your phone with the urgency flagged. Nothing is promised to your caller beyond that callback, and dispatching stays your decision. That's enforced in code and covered by a test, not a policy.

The next missed call is tonight.

Setup takes one afternoon. The pilot costs nothing for 60 days. The worst case is you turn forwarding back off and you're exactly where you are now — minus the calls we already caught for you.
